THE GREEN SCHOOL INITIATIVE (GSI)

Primary Objective: The Green School Initiative (GSI) intends to educate Children and Youth of school going age on environmental awareness and consciousness using different modules of interactions.

The Objective is to reduce the environmental footprint on our campus and promote sustainable social practices.

The engagement is designed as a hands-on learning session to understand and update the existing local capacities and expertise for deploying innovative solutions via the promotion of agroforestry by nurturing and planting of indigenous tree species, recycling and upcycling, conservative agriculture, sustainable consumption.

Some Initiatives under the program are Recycling program, Water Conservation, energy efficiency/ Renewable, Vegetable garden, Gender Justice and Unpaid Care Work.
