Who We Are

Centre for Opportunities and Rural Development (CORD Ghana) is a non-governmental organization registered with the Registrar General’s Department as a not-for-profit Organization.

CORD’s objective is to empower rural communities to develop sustainable solutions for the developmental challenges in communities. Using the approach of empowerment programs (skill training), research, advocacy, and community development in the areas of environment, agriculture, and rural development. Rural communities build resilience while adapting to developmental issues. CORD works in partnership with marginalized communities, state and non-state agencies to eliminate poverty and enhance rural communities’ access to basic necessities of life.
