CLEAN COOKING INITIATIVE

The Clean Cooking Initiative is accelerating Ghana's transition from polluting fuels to clean, affordable, and sustainable cooking solutions. We promote improved cookstoves and clean cooking fuels, including biomass briquettes made from agricultural waste, sawdust, and other residues. By training women and youth to produce briquettes locally, we create green jobs while reducing pressure on forests and cutting indoor air pollution. Through community demonstrations, school sensitization, and partnerships with local enterprises, we help households save money, cook faster, and breathe cleaner air. Clean cooking is not just about energy, it is about health, climate action, and economic empowerment.
