We are a non-governmental organization registered with the Registrar General’s Department under the company act, 2019 (Act 992) as a not-for-profit Organization.

CORD’s objective is to empower rural communities to develop sustainable solutions for the developmental challenges in Communities. Using the approach of empowerment programmes (Skill training), research, advocacy and community development in the areas of environment, agriculture and rural development. Rural communities build resilience while adapting to developmental issues. CORD works in partnership with marginalized communities, state and non-state agencies to eliminate poverty and enhance rural communities’ access to basic necessities of life.

Pledge for our planet

Our planet is facing major conservation challenges from threats like climate change, deforestation, overfishing, Pollution, Biodiversity loss, and illegal wildlife trade. But protecting our planet and keeping planetary warming below 1.5C is not impossible and none of us need to do it alone. Our impact on the planet primarily comes from what we eat, what we buy, how we power our homes, and how we travel from place to place. Of course, governmental policies and protections also play an important role.

We Pledge to:
